Took out 7 year old grandson (Dayton) had a great time. Caught tons of fish and Trey(deck hand) was awesome. He took extra time to explain and show Dayton the correct way to handle the big fish and there was a lot of those.

We had a Fantastic time on our trip!!! We learned A LOT from the Captain and his assistant and was very impressed with how knowledgeable they were!!! Although our trip was marred by extreme fog, we enjoyed the varying conversations and sincerely appreciated the care and concern the crew showed for everyone’s safety…We will most definitely be booking another trip in the summertime with Stray Cat Charters!!!

If you are planning on fishing in Galveston there is no other Capt or boat to choose. Capt Jerry would make a outing with no fish fun, but I don’t think no fish is even possible with Captain Jerry. We had multiple boats around us and we caught twice as many as all the other put together. Don’t even look for another, I promise this is the right choice.

Smaller wish weren’t biting as much we would have like so he turned us on to shark fishing. We caught 6 black tips. Great experience!

Fishing with Captain Jerry and his first mate Geeb was like fishing with family. Our family had a wonderful time and some just can’t stop talking, about the trip. We all had wonderful time and laugh until it hurt. They have the experience and expertise to put you on the fish.

Everytime we come to Galveston (which is 2 or 3 times per year), my kids insist that we go with Jerry and Geeber on a fishing charter. Their almost comedic relationship with each other makes the nonfishing time fly by. They remember us by name each vacation and even send us well wishes on Christmas. Equally as important, we catch good sized fish every charter hosted by them which I can’t say for other companies I used before I found Stray Cat Charters.

If you want to fish and have fun go with Stray Cat. You will not be bored. I will never use a party boat again. I took my grandson (15Yrs old) as a surprise , he has recently taking to fishing and had never fished any where but my pond and the lake. He had a great time on this trip. These guys have it down, get you to a good spot and keep you laughing while you fish.
I thought Geeber would jump up on Capt. Jim’s shoulder like a parrot before the day was up. I have already told my gulf fishing friends to go to Stray Cat for their trip in a couple weeks. I will definitely go out with them again. Thanks guys see you soon.

A chance of rain, tight schedule, and hopes of catching a shark…we couldn’t ask for a better turn out! We filled the ice chest with fish and my son caught the three biggest fish he’s ever caught, even if it wasn’t a shark. Thanks for the great time! We had the BEST time with Jerry and Geeber on Stray Cat Fishing Charters! Sooo much fun, laughter, and fish. If the fishing slowed for a moment, the stories from Geeber didn’t. ‘Sanbria’ even named her new hermit crab Geeber. We can’t wait to go fishing again with these guys. They are truly the best!

We went out on Sept. 30th the conditions were not the best, but these guys worked extremely hard and we caught six of the biggest bull reds I have ever seen in my adult life. These folks know the fishing spots and have a great relationship with other charter companies. We had a great time and will use them again next time we are in Galveston.
