About My Chris Craft 30′ Tournament Sportfish Boat

My boat is a 30′ Chris Craft Tournament Sportfish complete with cabin and restroom. This is the only Chris Craft (series) ever built on a deep-V Hunt-designed offshore hull. With a steep 21-degree of deadrise at the transom and six lifting strakes, this boat is able to run with the big boys when the weather gets nasty. Engines rest on inverted aluminum mounts, very heavy duty. Twin 350-hp diesel engines will cruise at 25 knots and reach a top speed of 34 knots.

For more than 30 years running, I have maintained a 200 ton USCG Captain’s License and am fully insured. My boat is located on the B-Dock in Slip 46 at the Galveston Yacht Basin located at 715 North Holiday Drive, Galveston, TX 77550. This is a private dock and my boat is ready to go in the slip when your arrive, so NO WAITING at the boat ramp like many other fishing charters. Restrooms are available also at the dock.

I encourage you to have great fishing fun and take plenty of photos and videos and let the fish be enjoyed again by others. Of course, you may keep the fish up to the allowable limits and take them home and enjoy a fine table fare with your family and friends!

What Is Provided and What To Bring
I supply the life jackets, fuel, tackle, bait, ice, and water. Please wear non-marking shoes and bring sunscreen. Each person in your party must have a valid Texas fishing license regardless of whether they plan on fishing or are just tagging along for photos and fun. Don’t forget the Red Drum Tag – and a Bonus Red Drum Tag if you want more than one! I do not allow glass containers or hard liquor on my boat. Checklist:

WHAT NOT TO BRING!

No hard liquor is allowed (Beer and Wine in non-glass containers are OK).

No bananas. Seriously.

MORNING GALVESTON FISHING TRIPS INSHORE

$575 gets you a 1/2 day of early morning fishing from 6:30 am to 10:30 am ($100 for each additional hour) for 1 to 3 people (add 4th, 5th and 6th person for $75 each). A deposit of $200 is required to book your trip. The remaining amount is due at departure time. I accept cash and credit cards. Please note that if you are paying with a credit card there will be a 5% extra fee added to the total due.

AFTERNOON GALVESTON FISHING TRIPS INSHORE

In addition to the morning trips mentioned above, we also have inshore afternoon trips from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

GALVESTON NIGHT FISHING INSHORE

Interested in night fishing in Galveston? Capt. Jerry offers guided fishing after dark for those too busy during their daytime. Night fishing is for 4 hours for 4 people (add 5th and 6th person for $50 each).
